Minister of Electricity Engineer Omar Shakrouq made a tour for "Dair Ali" power station in the countryside of Damascus accompanied by an Italian delegation headed by Ambassador Stefano Ravanian, along with representatives of Ansaldo the Italian energy company. Minister Shakrouq emphasized the importance role of Italian companies in providing switching parts and maintaining power stations, while the delegation expressed its willingness to cooperate in developing electricity sector in Syria.
