In a strategic move to ensure the availability of natural gas
for all citizens and to enhance the country’s electricity infrastructure, the Regional Gas Transmission Line connecting Syria and Turkey was officially inaugurated today.
The opening ceremony took place in the Turkish province of Kilis, in the presence of the Syrian Minister of Energy, Eng. Mohammad Al-Bashir, Turkish Minister of Energy, Alparslan Bayraktar, and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov.
During the event, Minister Al-Bashir emphasized that the newly launched pipeline will facilitate the daily supply of six million cubic meters of gas.
