General Director Eng. Khaled Abu De, held a meeting today  with a delegation from Mercy Corps,

as part of ongoing efforts to develop  the electricity sector in Syria.

The meeting aimed to discuss the needs of Syria's electricity sector and explore potential future cooperation mechanisms.

The meeting included a detailed presentation of the key requirements of the national power system, along with an examination of opportunities to support projects aimed at improving transmission and distribution performance

The discussions highlighted initiatives to enhance service reliability and better meet the needs of citizens that would contribute to strengthen  the national electricity infrastructure.
